For Hondas that offer running lights in the stock signals, this function can be included in the MicroAlloy signals also with the plug in device shown in the photos.

On the left side of each photo is the adapter plug pair that is shipped with signals without running light function, it adapts the connector on the signal to the connector on the bike. These plugs are not shipped with signals ordered with running lights.

On the right side of each photo is the adapter plug pair shipped with signals ordered with the running light function, it adapts the signal connector to the bike connector and components inside provide the running light function, which is to keep the LED on at about half power all the time, and it will flash at full power when signalling.

The running light in the compact MicroAlloy signal is of no use for daytime safety, only useful at night time, due to the small size.

With the running light adapter there is a small reduction in maximum flash brightness due to the voltage drop across a diode inside the module.

The running light plug in modules are only useful on the MicroAlloy signals.

If you are unsure whether to order the running light adapters, our advice is to not order the running light adapters.
